CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS.

Call of duty black ops had a lot of hype about it and it was meant to be one of the best game in the sequel of Call Of Duty but with all this hype it had a lot to live up to and in my opinion it was not as good as I thought it was going to be and a lot of people share my view, but I’m sure a lot of people preferred this game to previous games like modern warfare 2 and call of duty 4 because it is made by a different creator then them and the game play is a lot different and in black ops it’s a lot more realistic and in a lot of ways better but in my opinion it is better when it is less realistic.

In this college magazine they have used a lot of the same ideas as the other one I previously analysed and the one I have made. It really looks like something you would find for sale at a college because it is well made and you can tell a lot of effort has been put into making it but it is still quite an amateur college magazine cover. The collage on the cover connotes that the teenage mind is jumbled up, so a lot of teenagers could relate to this magazine because it has been written by other teenagers.

Call of duty black ops is truly a amazing game and there is nothing I could fault it about. The story line is both imaginative and graphical and very gripping and the online gameplay is very realistic and it is much more lifelike then any of the other previous games in this sequel. The connection is better and there is a lot less host changes then the others this is even better for those with a bad connection, there is a lot less “host advantage”, and the whole you can stay in party chat in most of the game modes means less people get into rages with the opponents and there is far less bad language being used towards people who don’t deserve it. That will be a good selling point to those kids whose parents will not let them play online because they don’t know who their playing with and what they are going to say to their children.

what i thought of the questionaire about college magazines

I knew i needed to make a questionaire about college magazines before making one to see if their was a market for it,and what i would need to include.
I asked do you think a college magazine is a good idea and 84% of people said it was a good idea,so after the first question i knew alot of people would want a magazine.I then asked would you pay for it and just under 40% of people would pay but a further 30% said they would pay for it if it was good enough.So i had to think about how i'm going to show that further 30% who origonaly arnt giving it a first chance to show them it is worth the money so i will be most proberly making the first edition for free so they can see if they like it or not.
Alot of people wanted the magazine to be published on a monthly basis which was quite good for me because that gives me a chance to make it to a top notch quality and get more people to enjoy reading it which means more people buying it but on the downside if it was published on say a 2 weekly thing it would mean a higher frequency of people buying it.
After establishing that their was room in the market to make a college magazine i went on to ask what they would want me to include in it and what the students of my college wanted to be included is ;a gossip page,college information,course information,envents guide and a sports page.The options that wenrt so popular were mainly horoscopes and other things like that.
I decided i am going to put a competition in the magazine and to feautre on the front page is for people to send their pictures in to me and the winner will be placed on the front cover on of the magazine on the next edition.

When making a college student magazine you will need to find out several things for instance the audience you are aiming at and if they are willing to pay for the magazine and what they would like to be included.In this college magazine the writer has done a very good job in finding who their audience and everything they have included in the front cover has related together and nothing really does not fit into the audience "of being a girly girl american cheerleader type" .
